The grease VNIINP-228 (GOST 38.01438-87) is a mix of petroleum oil and dioctyl sebacate thickened with a complex soda soap. It contains antioxidizing and wear-protective additives. The grease VNIINP-228 possesses the best greasing properties and greater working capacity at an application heat than at VNIINP-223.
It is efficient at residual pressure 13.3 Pas and temperatures from -45 °С…+150 °С. Application: special high-speed ball-bearings with frequency of rotation to 60000 mines-1, sensitive support of exact mechanisms and friction units of computing machines. A substitute product is VNIINP-223.
